Thank you to everyone who made a gift during the two-day WEEI/NESN Jimmy Fund Radio-Telethon! The 8th annual event took place on Thursday, Aug. 27 and Friday, Aug. 28. on WEEI Sports Radio Network and New England Sports Network, and raised more than $4.55 million.
The 36-hour broadcast featured compelling stories from Dana-Farber patients, doctors, researchers, and nurses. Celebrity guests and sports stars included David Cassidy, Lenny Clarke, Kelly Clarkson, Dane Cook, Terry Francona, Stephen King,Denis Leary, Jon Lester, Mike Lowell, Aaron Neville, Jonathan Papelbon, Dustin Pedroia, Donnie Wahlberg, Tim Wakefield, and more.
